Our first annual exhibition ”Art Deco Kaunas 1919 – 1940: The Feeling of Home“ („Art deco Kaune: Namų jausmas“) devoted to the unique art deco furniture and interiors of the interwar Lithuania took place in October-December, 2015 in one of the most impressive modernist buildings of Kaunas, the Garrison Officers Club.
Art Deco Kaunas experts were the initiators and curators in the first exposition that shed light on the charming and yet to be discovered examples of art deco furniture, design and applied art from the 30s Kaunas. The exhibition was covered by Lithuanian Tourism Department, national Lithuanian TV news, Init TV, Lithuanian Radio and also such publications as IQ The Economist, The Lithuanian Tribune, Lietuvos rytas, Kauno diena, Alfa.lt, Diena.lt, Centras, Namas ir aš, LT Life, ArtsOnline, among others.
